McSweeney Sports Surfaces provide a range of athletic track surfaces to suit the needs of clubs and sporting facilities nationwide throughout Ireland that will meet the highest IAAF standards.
Options include, long jump run ups, sprint tracks, shot putt and discus areas to full arenas.
Surface options will depend on the specific requirements and budget available . We offer 3 unique systems, all of which are IAAF certified.These systems are just as suitable for new installations as they are for the revitalisation or renovation of existing surfaces.
A permeable structural spray coating system consisting of an elastic base mat with coloured spray coating.
An impermeable sandwich construction , consisting of an elastic layer, pore sealing and cast coating.
An impermeable one or multi-layer full PUR coating system, spread with coloured EPDM granules.

Mike and his team have installed a magnificent multi-use astro surface and an international class five lane sprint track at our new facility on South Circular Road. Our facilities are the envy of our neighbours and we are currently heavily booked by teams seeking to escape the testing ground conditions.
The synthetic running track is a fantastic amenity for out school. The all weather surface and its location beside the playing field affords a greater variety of activities and offers many more options for team training, athletics and general play.
